MODERN SLAVERY STATEMENT

This modern slavery and human trafficking statement is made by Advent Press Limited, pursuant to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (the “Act”) for the financial year ending on 05 APRIL 2020. It sets out the steps taken by ADVENT PRESS LIMITED to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not present in our business or direct supply chain.

INTRODUCTION
Modern slavery is a heinous crime and a morally reprehensible act that deprives a person’s liberty and dignity for another person’s gain. It is a real problem for millions of people around the world, including many in developed countries, who are being kept and exploited in various forms of slavery. Every company is at risk of being involved in this crime through its own operations and its supply chain.

At ADVENT PRESS LIMITED, including all it’s trading names (AP PRINT, AP RESOURCES FOR LIFE, AP WEARFREE and AP MODERN DAY CRIMES), we have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and are fully committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in our operation and supply chain. We have taken concrete steps to tackle modern slavery, as outlined in our statement. This statement sets out the actions that we have taken to understand all potential modern slavery risks related to our business, and to implement steps to prevent slavery and human trafficking during the financial year 2020.

We are a members of SLAVE FREE ALLIANCE (www.slavefreealliance.org).

OUR SUPPLY CHAINS
At Advent Press Limited, we consider ourselves to be relatively low risk in relation to modern slavery, given the fact that we have been working against modern slavery for many years.

However, we are very aware that any new suppliers that we choose to work with may not have the same outlook as us.  In this regard, we only work with suppliers who have a modern slavery statement in place and practices which demonstrate that they understand the risks and are doing all they can to spot and eradicate modern slavery within their our supply chains.

We periodically review our use of suppliers and, as necessary adapt our process if we determine that our risk has changed.
